I ordered this sectional as I like the design, and the color "chocolate" would fit perfectly in my family room. Well after a long wait...had no idea it would be shipped from California to the Charlotte area..it finally arrived today. IT is made from black imitation leather and it is damaged on one corner!!!! I love Amazon Prime but someone made a great error in describing this sofa. It would be too much trouble to return, so I'll just cover it with throws and take the know-it-all barbs from certain people.

i bought this two years ago from walmart for just $299. it was a bargain and I gave it a shot with modest expectations.as other reviews have pointed out, this is a modest-use sofa for small spaces. the frame will crack under direct pressure on the arms. i have had no issues with the back frame and the frame has maintained its shape.the cushion covers are washable but not reversable. the only expected con are the foam in the cushions. they lost their resiliency after one year. i simply padded them up by buying a twin mattress foam topper, cut it to piece size of each cushion, and added it to the existing foam. the new memory foam is working well and was a thirty dollar improvement.overall, a great design at a low price. the microfiber is soft and durable. the chrome legs are mod and attractive and the chaise is movable to either side of the sofa.

BTW: Wally world has it for $100 less. I bought it 2 years ago for $300.Pros: It came in, perfect condition and looks great. It's small, and perfect for a small apartment. I'm 5-7 and I fit well if I want to take a nap. It doesn't weight a thing, so moving it for cleaning is a breeze. It felt great for the first couple of months.However, the bad quality becomes evident in a few months. I think it is a better fit for a dorm apt, etc, but if you use it a lot like I do, you would be kind of disappointed.Cons: Weak Structure. Don't lean on the back or any other part that is not the seating area. It can break given moderate force. I know I have broken part of the structure (I've heard it) but fortunately, it has remain in shape and stable. If you just sit on lay on the seating area is ok. Don't sit or lean on the back or arms.Seating cushions tend to slide, however this is an easy fix with a Velcro or something like that.My worse complain is the foam used in the cushions is terrible. It will lose its shape in no time. Overtime, 6+ months, it will never return to original shape, and not only becomes uncomfortable, but looks ugly as well. I could leave with the other cons, but the foam is the worst. I guess you get what you pay for. I guess you can buy custom made quality foam, but that is not cheap either.
