I own this for almost 4 years. We do have kids who, unfortunately, have the habit of bringing food to the room quiet often, so this sofa goes through a lot. Nothing sticks to it; however, as with any other fabric it will get stained if you try to do so. Because it is not 'immerse-yourself' soft like classic domestic sofas, it is very easy to clean. Sometimes we spot clean this sofa successfully with upholstery cleaners. Sometimes we just flip the whole sofa on its side and give it a good wash (flipping on the side to ensure water drips down, not inside). Also, the storage inside is very decent; we store inside about 3 quilts and 3 pillows, plus some of the included decorative pillows, because, it just too many of them were included with our set of chair and sofa. The pillow cases, by the way, are removable and been washed many times.In addition, we picked it for the fact that side rails are narrow and chrome does add a lot of modern feel to it. So we still have decent length sofa that can accommodate average male height, however, no extra precious room space is wasted on sofa sides.All of this makes this sofa priceless for our NYC apartment.When it finally wears out, we can only hope they still sell this kind, so we can replace it.

It's really nice... and the decrative pillows... and the colour... however the microsuede fabric collects a lot of dust, crumbs, fibre... and it's hard to clean with vacuum cleaner, though mine is rather strong. Thus I wouldn't reccomend it to a family with a small baby, like us... for others... you must decide...
