Although buying a large piece of furniture online is a very frightening process, due to Amazon's great reputation, after looking around we did buy this sofa. So far we are very pleased. It came just as expected, color, material, although they do lack a little in some instructions when putting the backs on. Other than that it arrived in good condition, a tiny nick on a seam but not something I was overly concerned about. We will definitely buy again when we decide to buy more furniture. Was a great bargain for the price. It does come in pieces. The entire bottom is all together. Then the three back pieces are put in very strong brackets. Actually it made it much easier for delivery and also getting it into the house. So, don;'t let that scare you I figure many items come that way from the factory, but we don't know it if we have it sent directly from a furniture store. They already have it put together.

Don't waste your money on this. It should be called vinyl which is what it really is, and this is very poor quality at that. We returned it immediately after receipt.

Well, i purchased this for my son who just got his first home. It fit the small living room perfectly! the quality is way better than i thought. the only thing i had an issue with was the reclining chairs. when you sit up after being reclined, the leg rest has a hard time locking back down, you just have to be forceful when you put the leg rest down. Other than that, its a great couch fora small living room.
