The couch was easy to assemble and looked good when it was put together, at first. When you stood back from the couch, you could see the floor through the cushions. There is no bottom in the couch. It has a metal frame to hold the cushions but nothing covers the frame. I suppose if the couch was pushed up against a wall it wouldn't be noticed as much but ours is in the middle of the floor with a window behind it. Back it went - thanks Amazon for making that process easy.

I am totally pleased. My son assembled it for me. It was relatively easy to do so. It looks "just right" in the room. It is a great addition to my home. I would buy it again, if I had to.
