The Motion Love seat is an inexpensive but attractive option for dens and tv-rooms and other low-medium traffic areas. I harbor some doubts about its suitability for primary, everyday, long term (5+ year) use, but that is to be expected for its price level (five hundred something in summer 12).Pro'sVery reasonable price. Attractive appearance. Very comfortable. The bonded leather (ie vinyl over a ground up leather backing) has a natural brown grain and appears well sewn. The cushioning is adequate. The reclining action works smoothly and comfortably (see caveat below). Side latch releases have been reliable. Support legs are well placed to prevent tipping. Arms are low enough that I can take comfortable naps on it.Con'sThe reclining footrests are balanced a little off - one's leg weight can cause them to dip slightly if one isn't fully lying back. They also don't always lock closed when getting up, and may take "slamming" them down and backward to get them to latch.The rest of my concerns are subjective, and based purely on feel. The material feels somewhat thin, although no wear or rips have resulted in several months use. The frame flexes somewhat, mostly when moving the love seat around the room for vacuuming, etc. I harbor doubts about the long term prospects of the cushioning, but it's still okay for now.ShippingThe love seat arrived packaged in a foam bag inside a large brown cardboard box. Mine had multiple tears in the box, but the seat came through undamaged. The seat backs are removed for transport and simply require inserting their tracks into the support brackets on the back of the loveseat.ConclusionThis loveseat provides an excellent low-cost, attractive means for completing your furnishing. Its construction is adequate but leaves some lingering concerns about long term or high-traffic longevity. For the price, it can't be beat.

I love how soft and comfortable this loveseat is. I purposely purchased this design without an arm to allow me and my boyfriend to snuggle. However, one recliner will immediately put your feet up as soon as you sit down, without even pressing the side lever to do so. Plus both leg parts are extremely difficult to close and let you out of the chair. Not a good purchase for us older folks with little to no leg strength. Too heavy, expensive and troublesome to send back, so I'm just living with it's little idosyncracies. Wish I knew enough about the mechanics to tweak the springs or something.
