This "sofa bed" was not meant for human use. The description suggests that this couch has cushions, but I don't believe it. Sitting on this couch is about as relaxing as leaning against a wall. Sleeping on this couch is impossible and considerably more uncomfortable than the floor. When folded into a bed there is a divide between the two sections. Normally this would not be an issue, but since the "cushions" (I'm convinced there are just springs doing the heavy lifting) are so unforgiving there is a pretty large and uncomfortable indent; this limits you to one section of the sofa. However, after trying to sleep on this couch for awhile you will notice you are in pain. This is the sofa fighting back. The "cushions" push back with too much force. Any part of your body that is being supported by this couch will begin to hurt - this goes for sitting as well. You will wake up in agony. The pain will go away, but then you'll realize that you did not actually get any sleep. Oops!

I was afraid of ordering furniture online without seeing it. It looks nice and wears well. This is in my kids playroom area and it is easily cleaned and has been a comfortable bed when I have company stay the night. It was light enough that I carried it to the basement with my 11 year old daughter. I would recommend this for a spare room.
